I am so incredibly grateful to wake up to another wonderful morning feeling healthy and alive with the ability to create my day as I chose, and not be on some else's agenda or schedule.
Not your typical sunny So Cal day, but it's so nice to enjoy these thick cloudy skies and rain that came down hard all night providing much needed nourishment to our surrounding hills. And you can hear our wind chimes! They were never silent in Hawaii.
Can we get real? Do you LOVE what you do? If so that's awesome! If you asked me the same question during my 20 year corporate career or 10 years in real estate, I would have said I love my job! But I didn't know what I didn't know.
Not to say you don't love your job, but maybe there's a better way. Would you agree people are smarter these days and never before have we had so many options? My hope is you are loving what you do, have time to enjoy moments along your journey, have no regrets, and setting yourself up an amazing future.
If you are not loving your job and/or your life, or if your 1, 5, 10+ year plan doesn't allow you to truly be able to enjoy your days and not find yourself waking up at 60+ wondering where the heck your life went, sadly missing out on so many special moments and events because you 'had' to work, maybe we should talk.
Don't get me wrong. I work my butt off. But I'm creating my life and doing it when and where I choose to, and I'm building something truly special.
My 3-5 year plan will allow me, my husband and my family to never have to worry about missing out on special occasions, or doing the things we want to do because we don't have the time/money. And most importantly, be happy and healthy enjoying each other. Life is just too short!
